Un mes para recordar / A month to remember

Este año, todos los que trabajamos en el campamento de Lenguaventura hemos llegado a la misma conclusión: ¡qué rápido se ha pasado el tiempo! Estamos todo el año esperando volver a juntarnos en Tarifa en el mes de julio, volver a disfrutar con todas las actividades programadas, volver a ver a los antiguos jóvenes que ya nos visitaron en años anteriores, conocer a los nuevos… y después de 30 días de duro trabajo, es extraña la sensación que tenemos cuando el campamento se acaba. 

Desde este blog que día a día cuenta todo lo que hacemos, queremos dar las gracias a todos los que han hecho posible que hayamos pasado como dice el slogan de este año ¡EL MEJOR VERANO DE NUESTRAS VIDAS! Gracias a los profesores, cocineros, limpiadoras, conductores de autobús y por supuesto a todos vosotros, ¡chicos y chicas que habéis venido de más de 15 países diferentes!

Todos nosotros esperamos que hayáis disfrutado del día a día de Lenguaventura y que os quedéis con un bonito recuerdo. Para ayudaros a que esto sea así, os dejamos este collage que recoge algunos de los momentos vividos durante este mes.

This year, all the people who work in Lenguaventura Summer Camp have come to the same conclusion: How fast the time has gone! We spend all the year waiting for the camp, to gather all again in Tarifa, to work again together and enjoy with the activities, to see again the ones who come back for the second or even third time or to meet the new people… and after 30 days of hard work, the feeling when the camp is over is very weird. 

From this blog, where we have told you everything we lived in the camp, we would like to thank everyone who have made that all of this happened and we spent (as the slogan of this year says) THE BEST SUMMER OF OUR LIVES! Thanks to the teachers, cooks, cleaners, bus drivers and the rest of the staff and aboce all, thanks to all of you, boys and girls who have come from all over the World, from more than 15 different nationalities!

We all hope you enjoyed the day-to day in Lenguaventura and you keep now the best memories. To help this happens, here you have a nice collage with some of the best moments lived during this month.

Últimas actividades / Last activities

Victoria, Helena y Baptiste

Antes de terminar el campamento todavía nos quedaban varias actividades muy interesantes y divertidas por realizar. El grupo de multiactivity tuvieron una sesión de Stand-up Paddle y terminaron en la Playa de Punta Paloma... ¡cubiertos de barro! Otro grupo tomaron un barco desde tarifa para navegar por el Estrecho de Gibraltar y avistar delfines y otros cetáceos. Ambas experiencias fueron muy buenas. En realidad no queremos que el campamento termine :(

Before finishing the camp we still had to do some interesting and funny activities. The multiactivity group were practicing Stand-up Paddle in Punta Paloma beach...and they finished all covered by mud! Another group took a boat from the port of Tarifa to watch dolphins and whales in the Strait of Gibraltar. Both experiences were great. To be honest, we don´t want the camp finishes :(

Nuestro Flash Mob!

Este es el resultado final de nuestro Flash Mob! Después de varios ensayos y bailes con la canción Disco Pogo, esta fue nuestra actuación por sorpresa en la Plaza de la Alameda.Fue muy divertido!

This is our final result of our Flash Mob! After many rehearsals and dances with the Disco Pogo song, this was our performance by surprise in Plaza de la Alameda. It was very fun!

Un día muy refrescante! / A very fresh day!

 Uno de nuestros días favoritos es la visita al parque acuático en Algeciras. Es la mejor forma de refresacarse y pasar un divertido día en las piscinas y toboganes. Estas fotos reflejan lo bien que lo pasamos todos, monitores y chavales! Puedes visitar nuestra página web para ver más fotos:

One of our favourite days is our visit to the water park in Algeciras. This is the best way to refresh and spend a funny day enjoying the pools and slides. These pictures show that we all really had fun, monitors and kids. You can visit our website to see more photos:

Fiesta al revés / Up side down party

Elena y Vittoria nos cuentan cómo fue la fiesta que celebramos el Sábado:

"Fue muy divertido cuando los chicos se vistieron de chicas. Este juego nos hizo conocerles mejor. La música y las bebidas fueron buenas y también todos los bailes que hicimos. En general fue una fiesta muy divertida y entretenida. Sobre todo nos gustó organizar algo todos juntos. Fue una gran idea para decir adiós a todos los que se marchaban al día siguiente."

Elena and Vittoria tell us about the party we celebrated on Saturday:

"It was very fun when boys dressed up as girls and it made us know each other better. The music and drinks were really good and so was the dancing. Overall, it was very fun and entertaining to do something all together one evening. It was also a really good farewell party for everyone who was leaving".

El Océano Atlántico de fondo

Al otro lado, el Mar Mediterráneo

Tarifa es la localidad situada en el punto más meridional de Europa. Justo aquí se junta el Mar Mediterráneo y el Océano Atlántico y se forma el Estrecho de Gibraltar separando Europa y África por tan sólo 14 kilómetros. Es una situación privilegiada, por eso hoy, antes de ir a la playa y de disfrutar de unos divertidos hinchables hemos aprovechado para hacernos unas cuantas fotos de grupo.

Tarifa is the southern point in Europe. Right here the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean come together in the Gibraltar Strait. The distance between Europe and Africa is just 14 kilometres. This is such a priviledge location and that is why today, before going to the beach and play with funny inflatables, we have taken a couple of group pictures.

"Nos encantó Cádiz. Era una ciudad preciosa y fue una visita muy divertida. La catedral es muy bonita. También visitamos las tiendas pequeñas alrededor de la plaza principal y compramos muchos caramelos" Virginia y Emily

"Today we went to Cadiz and it was really hot!. We had some free time to do some shopping and after, we visited the city with the monitors. It was cool to go there for the second time in my life!". Sarah
